At Buroloods I worked on designing a new Van Mossel Mega occasion centrum retail concept. The first pilot showroom was an exclusive concept “upgrade“ in Amsterdam.
Other many locations have been opening since in the whole country.
Mega occasion centrum used to have very old look and almost no retail image. The idea was to create an accesible showroom for the whole family, with friendly and playful interior, fresh colors, warmth and modern look.
The interior of MOC is welcoming and friendly with bright accent colors and purple gradient that relates to the brand identity. There is a range of different textiles, soft furniture, and different wood looks.

The pantry area is combined out of 4 parts. The bar area includes a mini kitchen/ bar with a monitor which can be seen from the bar counter. Behind there is a kids’ area which can be easily seen but is also cozily enclosed. and the rest is a lounge area with different seating arrangements for comfort and accessibility.
A fixed sales area is used for private time with the client. It is transparent to be emerged in the showroom as well as private due to enclosure. The back wall is an acoustic panel. The large monitor is hanging for presentations. The lower part of the wall has a storage that is all closed and a flexible cabinet to be pulled out to use for the printer. It is an office space that is neat and well organized.
These are the concept renders of Hengelo location. There were some changes made to the final design as going with a cheaper option of the furniture as well as a different style of communication. But the main concept and formal style stayed the same. The new locations are still opening-up following the same concept.
